Ashfar’s Development
Ashfar, a family-owned business, was founded in 1975. As global trade patterns evolved, the company began leveraging its worldwide partnerships to import yarn into the United States.
Following several years of growth serving the U.S. yarn market, Ashfar made a significant commitment in 2000 by establishing a warping facility in Newton, North Carolina. The facility spans more than 40 acres and is supported by an extensive inventory of beams required for large-scale operations. Over the past two decades, Ashfar has consistently expanded its plant capacity to reach its current scale.
This sustained growth, driven by ongoing capital investment, reflects Ashfar’s long-term commitment to the U.S. textile and technical textile industries, as well as its readiness to continue investing in the future.
